Hey -- My Very First Haiga!

I learned about this visual cousin of haiku from Professor John J. Han, the editor of Cantos, who also teaches English and Creative Writing at Missouri Baptist University. It’s an ancient Japanese form that combines haiku, calligraphy, and painting.
